FYL, he's a douchebag. But I seriously have to wonder, with so many of FMLs just like this, can't you girls tell a guy is a douchebag like that when you first go out with him? Even if he's not an asshole to you at first, it's not a good sign if he's an asshole in general.

Clearly I'm tired and cranky (sorry #5) but does it really matter? Why would you want him to watch you crying anyway? It was during an actual conversation and not via voicemail so you could still say what you had to say. Break-ups suck and there's just no kind way to do it that universally pleases. Granted it was unnecessary for him to insult and dump you at the same time but maybe that will speed the healing process.
