Today, my boyfriend broke up with me over the phone. He said there was someone else, and that he has been in love with her for a while. Turns out, the new girl was his online video game character. I got dumped for a video game. FML

Unless he's got some sorta freaky fetish she can't satisfy, being all humanish. ;) Though it's probably a case of he met a girl who was playing as well, and wants to date her. She may live fairly close and that would be a shared interest. Not all people who play WoW are 45-year-old men. I play WoW. And I have quite a few other female friends who play. None of us are gross pedo nerds.

You are obviously a horrible girlfriend and probably don't put out, so your boyfriend decided that spending time with a video game was more fun. Learn you lesson and maybe you won't end up living alone with lots of cats when you get older.
