Today, my boyfriend gave me a box of chocolates for Christmas. I thought it was sweet until I noticed the heart drawn on the back. It's the same box of chocolates I gave him for Christmas. Christmas last year. FML

Today, my boyfriend gave me a surprise gift. I was so excited until I opened it. It was the same exact sweater I bought for him last month, but in my size. He said, “I knew you liked it, so I got one for you too!” He didn’t remember that I already own one. FML

its okay. chocolate doesn't go bad. I work at a candy store. We sometimes use leftover chocolates from the year before. its not a big deal. but it does stink that you gave it to them as a present the year before.

Ya know, it's likely that he used the same box because he thought it'd be a sweet gesture to show you how much he cared to keep it for an entire year. And if that is the case, I hope you apologize for jumping the conclusion that he's an asshole and not a thoughtful guy.

this site talks about alot of these incidents huh. i think yu should keep the box + chocolates, then do the exact same thing to him next year, or on his bday. :)
