I think the majority agrees that you should order the most expensive food & alcohol and either enjoy it then leave before the bill or wait for if to get to the table and then go. Just whatever you do, don't let him go to the bathroom/make a call/etc. It would really suck if it backfired. Sorry OP.

I would pretend like its still on and let him sit and wait for you. After 15 minutes of him being there, send him a Text that you are running late and to just go ahead and order you something. Stick it to him one last time. Oh make sure to tell him you want an alcoholic beverage too bc those can be pricey. Agh what the heck--tell him to make it a good bottle of wine bc you plan on having great breakup sex. Instead of going to meet him--go out with your girlfriends!!

Go, order expensive including the most expensive wine. Order drinks for people at random tables. Then when food arrives toss the wine in his face and yell "you want to do what with a donkey". Then leave.
