It should be.
My dog literally ate my homework once
I did this before but it's best to use a tiny match and have yourself ready to blow it or stomp on the paper
Never trust a sibling with art. My brother got Jack Daniels on one of my art pieces he wanted to see if the characters I drew would get drunk. He was drunk.
And he set fire, to the pages!! Watched it burn as he laughed his ass off!!!
You should try using tea to age the paper next time.
We did this in a 6th grade class. Instead of actually using fire, you just rip the edge and then use brown colored pencils or crayons to give it that look.

I set fiiiiire, to the paint. Watch it burn as my grade fades awaaay.
I'd have thought that would've worked.
