For your cat, keep your empty ones for him or train him to not do that. For you, Just buy a new box, or put them high up so he can't reach it. No harm done.
Are you positive your cat wasn't giving you a hint on the level of your rice cooking skills, OP? My point is even stronger of your cat's name is Gordon Ramsey.
rice krispies. not just plain rice
Snap! Crackle! PISS!
Did you just leave it laying around unattended? Was it on a table or a counter? YDI for leaving it around long enough not to shoo the cat away before it did its business.
#26, some cats are sneaky bastards. If I leave food on the counter and turn around for literally 5 SECONDS my cat will jump up and grab the food (depending on if it's something he likes and is portable). My cat is like a dog. I've also gotten footprints in my food because it wasn't something he likes. I have to lock him in another room to make food now.
Guess she thought your food need extra flavor. Sorry to hear that OP!
Why was your cereal in access?
because cats jump
And not knowing wether you left it unattended or not i can't say if Ydi or fyl
