Today, my college professor/employer failed to send in a letter I had been counting on for a scholarship application. He has also decided not to pay me for the last two months. I'm not going to make rent. Apparently this is the punishment you get for politely declining a date with a married man. FML

I knew a girl in grad school who had the exact same situation. Everyone else advised her to do what everyone else here is saying, but I recommended the occasional *******. She followed my advice and got her doctorate in 3 years. I'm jus' sayin'. . .

DHD, I'm glad you're here, man. All these serious people are starting to bum me out. I don't need to see a hundred people reiterating the same obvious solution to the problem. I want to see the outrageous funny ones and it looks like you and me are ALMOST the only ones shouldering the load for this post! Another trick the student could play is to seduce the prof's wife into some hot girl-on-girl action. That would really turn the tables on that prick! OP, if you're reading this, we want video (HD) provided you and the prof's wife do some good pubic grooming. If not, make it standard def!

He didn't pay you for the past 2 MONTHS? What kind of job are you working? If you don't get your paycheck within the week it's due, DO something about it. The other stuff is totally FML, though.. sucks :(

Some are monthly and when that's the case it sometimes goes back two months. Like you work all of November. During December it gets processed and then you get your check at the beginning of January (now). So if he never did anything with November, she wouldn't notice until January, by which time he could also have trashed her December time card. Although actually I've only heard of one person who ever got paid on such a delay, so I don't really know how accurate my information is, or how often that happens.

You should have said something when he asked you and built up a case, and then, if possible, found other means of employment. That was a big red flag that things are going to get ugly.
