Today, my dad decided to clean my 20 gallon fish tank. I had 6 fish. One of them was called a transparent fish, clear with a bright orange tail, which was my favorite. My dad didn't see it, and dumped the water out along with it. FML

Today, my fish's tank was all green and nasty, but I had no time to clean it because I woke up late, so the job was left to my mom. When I came back, the water level seemed high, and the fish looked a little strange, so I asked my mom what she did. She said "I cleaned the tank with chlorine!" FML

Today, I bought a fish. I put the tank on top of the fridge so my cat wouldn't get at it. I'd forgotten to buy some things for its tank, so I quickly ran out to get them. When I got home, I saw the tank destroyed on the floor, and my cat devouring my fish. I had the fish for less than an hour. FML

Today, I heard a loud crashing noise. I ran into the kitchen to see what it was. My cat had knocked over my fish bowl and had my Beta in her mouth. After scolding her and rescuing it, I decided to clean its bowl. When I went to dump some of the water in the sink, my fish went down the drain. FML

Today, I bought a new Siamese Fighting Fish. I was so happy with my new fish so I bought him an expensive lovely bowl, some weeds, and a toy for the bowl. I left the room to get the fish food. When I returned, the fish was gone, and the cat was sitting on the table. FML

There are no fish called "transparent fish". There are glass fish, which are not completely transparent and if you're seeing it with a bright orange tail, it was probably dyed. Either way, your father shouldn't be cleaning your fish tank by "dumping" it out, which would be stressful to the fish and harmful to the tank's bacteria colonies. He should have been using a siphon which, when used correctly in the gravel, will not suck up fish. YDI for probably making all this up. And BTW, for all who are arguing, there are hundreds of published books and reports that use the term "fishes" as a plural for "fish". It can indeed work both ways.

but if it was an 'evolution fail fish' it wouldn't be there. a transparent fish can be overlooked by many predators. (dad) lol funny. OP why not just get another transparent fish? F the fish's Life lol
