Hi I'm the OP, I'm glad I got published that's awesome! The doctor fixed up my nose and it already feels a lot better, I think it's mostly the morphine though. Anyway I learned my lesson with guns and I doubt my dad will let me touch one again for a LONG time.

Be prepared for the withdrawal from morphine to give you the worst headache ever.
You're lucky you just got a broken nose. When my dad had me shoot a higher caliber than I had been previously, he only loaded one bullet in it because there have been cases where people pull the trigger, the recoil is more than they expect, and they end up involuntarily double tapping a bullet through their jaw and into their brain :/
Never lock your elbows
This is why I always wait until I'm already injured to fire my many guns; it saves a trip to the ER.
What kind of gun?
Well I guess you learned why he never let's people touch them. Good thing the doctors took good care of you! Happy holidays OP!
YDI for having a gun. Guns are stupid and if you believe in having one you're stupid too. "We need a gun to protect ourselves from guns" just get rid of guns you get rid of the problem. Here in Britain our children feel safe to go to school. You deserve more than a broken nose for owning a death bringer.

I think you now know the reason why he rarely lets anyone touch them....
He should've gone over recoil and such with you before he let you touch them at all. Fail on his part. But now you know!
