Why'd you leave it where he could get it?

The check cost $2000?! How much was it for?

That sucks... really sucks. Why is it that animals always go for the important things?

because we call then animals, it hurts their feelings

lol i don't know when I was 11 my dog tore apart my backpack, ripped up school books and homework I brought all the tore up papers with obvious canid tooth marks in it to my teacher and the **** still gave me detention and said I lied she had it in for my entire family though from my dad, down.

If you had a check worth that much money, why didn't you put it into your account earlier, instead if leaving it on your island? =/

possible he only just got it? dunno what American banks are like but if I received a cheque on Saturday, wouldn't be able to put it in my bank until Monday, and then it wouldn't clear until Thursday....so would have been screwed for the payment anyway. It will bounce then they will try and take it again, and if it's anything like my bank, will charge you £30...anyone who gets bank charges can post FML's...

We have a lot of banks open on Saturdays and my bank posts deposits automatically. And Chase bank has that app that let's you take a picture of the check to deposit it. That must really suck for you though :(

Yeah, I wasn't sure. Where I live, banks are closed on weekends. Still a very crappy situation for OP.

Tell your boss 'bout it, and next time, sign up so your paycheck is automatically cashed in ur debit account.

i swear cheques take around 3 days to process anyway. so you're screwed either way?

That's what I was thinking. If the credit card bill is due tomorrow and the cheque is still uncashed, you would have had no money in the bank to pay it anyway...

There is other ways to cash your check instantly morons.

MrGold 0

says the douche who thinks only banks cash checks.

Are you all illiterate? The cheque needs to be deposited, not cashed, because the bill is being automatically withdrawn. Unless the cheque was drawn from OP's bank, the turnaround time will be a couple of business days. TL;DR lol lrn2read

Mr Gold: I don't recall ever saying this, but thanks for the insult anyway. :)

******* dogs...but you're mostly at fault for leaving the check where the little ******** could get it.

to cash it instantly they take a percentage...that's gonna be way too much money to lose on a $4000 cheque...better to pay the bank charges

That dog would become my food after that. There would be nothing else to eat till the next check came in.

the dog has no idea about what she has eaten

TraceCase_ 19

shouldn't keep it in reach of dogs being able to eat it..
