I'm not a monster, I'm a human being

Today, on vacation my wife asked if I wanted her to take my picture. I realized it was the first time in our 10 years she had asked me that question. Moments later I realized it's the first time in my life that anyone's ever asked me that. FML

I've been married for 11 and I've never asked my husband if he wanted one either. Nor has he ever asked me if I wanted him to take mine. Maybe It's only weird because you've never had to ask. I usually just take pictures anyways without asking, as I know I'm getting an image of him candidly. He does the same for me too! Now, if you've both neither taken pictures of eachother before, or she's never done it; this makes more sense for an FML. But not everyone really cares about pictures or picture taking, they'd rather just enjoy the moment!

I'm guessing that for some reason you find this upsetting.

Then it ought to be special and a celebration.

Eh, it's overrated. At first, it's flattering to be asked to take pictures, but it soon gets tedious.
