Today, my family gathered at my 96 year old great-grandmother's surprise birthday party that was my idea. When she walked in, we surprised her so much that she literally had a heart attack. She is now in the hospital. FML

I hope she's alright, but come on, you guys shouldn't have done that. Don't ever take anyone over 80 by surprise.

Zing_Master, I admire your zinging skills. As for OP, well that sucks, but it's common sense you don't surprise an old person. I'm surprised that nobody else in your family thought about it
