ahhh peace and quiet at last:)
What a silly argument. Of course battery-operated toothbrushes run on electricity. Therefore it is reasonable to call them "electric toothbrushes". If you wanted to be more specific you could call them "battery-operated toothbrushes", but when it comes down to it, they still run on electricity. It's just a matter of semantics. It's like arguing that a square is not a rectangle. A square IS a rectangle, just a specific subset of rectangles where all the sides are even.
No, they meant what they said. A rectangle must have 4 right corners and two sets of parallel sides. A square is 4 right corners with 4 equal sides. In other words it is 4 right corners with two sets of parallel sides. All squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares.
#56, I don't understand what you are getting at. I don't think you read what a wrote carefully; I wasn't talking about triangles at all. It is a matter of semantics because you could say "square" or "rectangle with 4 sides of equal length" and it would be the exact SAME thing, just a different way to say it. You could even call a square a rectangle since a square IS a rectangle. Square is a more descriptive word, just like you could call a "battery-operated toothbrush" an "electric toothbrush" but "battery-operated toothbrush" is more specific.
You do realize that FML only gives you a limited time to edit your comments, right? Your comment was over 2 hours after mine, so there is no way I could have gone back and edited it. It's totally understandable to misread a comment and think you saw triangle when it wasn't there, but don't go and blame me for it. I guarantee you I did not say triangle. In fact, I did not even edit my comment.
"#57: no, they didn't. She just edited the reply after..." Nice try covering your mistake but, since they posted at 10:28 a.m. and you posted at 12:51 p.m., I know they didn't edit. They would have been well outside the whopping 2 minutes you get to edit a post on this site. You messed up, the classy thing would be to just admit that.
"Everyone is in their own room and refuses to talk to each other" sounds like a pretty ideal family model to me
There's not a lot of 'wisdom' in your family. Amirite? No? Okay I'll stop.
To tell you the tooth, the root of the problem is your family needs to brush it off. These puns were not acci-dental
the only reason you deserve it is for having such an immature family.
How does one deserve something because of their family being some way? Did I miss humans learning some method that would allow a baby to pick which womb it's born from and to what family? You can't deserve something based on the behavior of anyone other than yourself. What you said follows the same logic that throwing a ten year old in jail because their father is a serial killer would. The only reason the OP would deserve this is if they were involved in the discussion and are pouting in their bedroom like the rest of the family.
Anyone else notice that the category is intimacy!?!
They most certainly are. Chemical energy is still energy.
Now I wonder what happens when you discuss politics XD
Sounds like something my friends and I would do

Well that sucks, to tell you the tooth.
Oh wow. Your family is full of morons.
