Today, my four year old got mad that he couldn't find his favorite character on the Wii. So, he decided to smash the Wii remote into my $700 LCD TV, shattering the screen. That was the only TV in the house, and the $80 service plan I bought doesn't cover accidental damage. FML

Today, I bought myself a brand-new 52" flatscreen. It was only in my house for 2 hours before my toddler had a tantrum, threw a toy right into the screen and wrecked it beyond repair. I paid to have a nice TV for 2 hours. FML

Today, I spent over $2,000 on a big flatscreen TV. My dad insisted I let him mount it on the wall instead of paying someone to do it. All seemed fine, until the TV came loose and smashed onto the floor. My dad refuses to accept responsibility, and says I should've had a professional install it instead. FML

Today, while playing ping pong, my brother got mad that he lost and threw the paddle at my head, causing me to fall backwards into the TV mounted on the wall. Now I have a concussion and have to pay to replace the TV. FML

Today, in an attempt to keep my valuables safe, I snatched my PlayStation 4 controller from the hands of my 4-year-old nephew. Not knowing that it was connected, I ultimately yanked the PlayStation and the HD Flatscreen flat on their faces. FML

If your four year old thinks it's acceptable to smash things then you deserve him smashing your things. Do us all a favor and teach your kid that smashing doesn't solve problems before he grows up into a spoiled self-absorbed adult with anger issues.

Is it just me or is $700 not that expensive for an LCD tv? Or at least not expensive enough to mention the price. Still sucks though.

For working American citizens, $700 is a lot of money to waste that could be put to use in better ways. Even if they did have an extra $700 I am sure they would have rather spent that money towards a vacation or something, rather than buying another television.
