Today, my friend compared my hair color to hers. Also, she braided my hair (two pieces) with hers (one piece). I asked her why and she finally broke down and told me. She has lice and didn't want to be the only one. FML

Today, I went to get a haircut. I have a pretty bad case of dandruff, so whenever I get one, a lot of it shows. My hairstylist called to her nearby friend twice, then looked at my hair and said, "Blech" under her breath. I got glares when I walked out. FML

Today, I let my friend bleach my hair, which resulted in it falling out in clumps. I spent $150 at the beauty salon fixing it and cutting most of it off. I sent the pictures of my new hair to my friends, and I got the same reply from each and every one of them: "That better be a wig." FML

Today, my sister had a friend for a sleepover. They filmed a video in which the friend was lying in my bed, singing. An hour after the girl went home, her parents called. She has lice, and had brought them to our house unknowingly. I can see each and every individual larva on my pillow. FML

Take a bit of beer or dog shampoo (just bear with me) and wash it really good. Do this several times for a few weeks just in case so you can kill all of the eggs and larvae. Or you could get someone to go through your head...when I was five, there was a little girl with hair down to her butt and she had lice. I ended up going to school with my hair in cornrows (And getting laughed at because my scalp was so pale xD) to keep them out. Got them twice... But yeah, just try those two methods, if possible.

Don't be so hard on her. I got lice once and it SUCKED, but it was sorta okay because my sister had it too. It would have been WAY worse if I was the only one.
