Today, I was trying to remove a temporary tattoo my friend put on my cheek. When warm water and soap didn't work, I tried something else. Just so you know, Mr. Clean Magic Erasers do not, in fact, work by magic. Tell that to the massive chemical burn covering half my face. FML

No, no, you're friend is right! The guns have sensors that detect soft tissue 99.99% of the time and will refuse to fire. Something must have gone horribly wrong, you must have been pressing too lightly or on tissue that was too hard. Try again. This time use a different stapler gun and choose the muscle between your thumb and your first finger (this is the tissue that the sensors are calibrated against in the lab) and press down hard. Let me know how it goes.
