That is really hurtful. If she had said yes and then it was a "joke" she would have been so humiliated. In the future, she might say no when she is asked out for real - because she thinks it is a "joke". Please guys don't do this. Not even in a passing comment like "hey sexy" - it is hurtful because you mean it sarcastically.
