Treat every weapon as if it is loaded and never point it at something you don't intend to shoot. Pointing it at your head is beyond moronic. OP should have stopped him instead of allowing it.
Sue, Seriously don't even hesitate sue the company. Like some comments never point a gun at ones face regardless if it's empty. There's always that change an ammunition is in the chamber and this is a clear but proof. I bet he said he checked it before and cartridge was empty. Obviously one was in the chamber..also he's an instructor thy should have more training on gun care. Thank god he doesn't work for a gun range with real guns.

This instructor was trying to be a smart ass. I would report him the the owner and maybe file assault charges against him. This is the most unsafe and unprofessional act I have ever heard of from a paintball instructor. As someone pointed out earlier, a paintball can take out an eye, that's why they make the masks,
