Today, my girlfriend accused me of not having any friends. So I sent out a mass text saying "Hey, what's up?" to prove her wrong. I didn't get any replies. FML

(crickets) Well, it looks like your girlfriend is right. Not even the total strangers on FML give a shit about what's up with you. (sad trombone)

Maybe you should have sent a proper message. If you send me something saying "hey what's up" after we haven't spoken in ages, I'm not going to reply.

If someone I've never texted before sent me a random message saying "Hey, what's up", I wouldn't reply. I'd just be like o.O If your girlfriend is really wrong, go out with your friends or something. Or actually, you don't have to prove her anything.

Sounds like she is the reason you have no friends...been there. ^^

Sounds like you were... *takes off sunglasses* Textless in North Carolina (aaaaaight!)

how can she "accuse you" of not having friends? Even if it were true, she's your friend (or so a gf should be) and not having any or many friends isn't a crime.

So what if your girlfriend says you don't have friends? If she's right then oh well; if she's wrong then oh well. It doesn't matter either way. You deserve it for actually being that affected by what she said (and was probably joking about) that you had to send a pointless text message to people.

Yes, I totally agree with you; there's only two people I would respond to if they texted me that (good thing they wouldn't), but only because I know they would have something else to ask. Otherwise, if I get messages like that, I'm not responding
