Hide your things better :)
Or throw the damn thing away
Except maybe he needs to be reminded again so he should probably keep it.
Why would you keep that ?
That's exactly what I was thinking... What would be the point of keeping that if you got back together?
#42, couldn't he just make another one? I know if that was me I'd have gotten rid of it.
Maybe he just put it somewhere and forgot about it? Bottom of a pile of papers or something
I have a feeling that "letter to myself" is code for "diary".
^yea, and fears such as these are what made me tear out the pages of my diary and permanently shelve it.
YDI for having it somewhere she could find it even though you are back together. A place in your life like that should be put behind you unless you hadn't moved on from that part of you that didn't want to be with her. If you did want to be with her and were attached to the letter still, you should have known to get rid of it lest this happen.
Still, the girlfriend could realize that he wrote it to help himself in a time of need and that he very much probably doesn't mean what he said. But of course, like you said, he could still be attached to the letter. I'd like to think that maybe he just forgot or misplaced the letter and so couldn't get rid of it once he changed his mind though.
You should have written a letter about the importance of ******** and steak.
At least you're a good writer. Capitalize on it! With your girlfriend, though, explain that you were full of emotions and such- try to work it out!
You don't know that. maybe she broke up with him for his bad writing!
Neither of your comments make much sense, her breaking up with him had nothing to do with either his penmanship or the content of his writing, it was probably the fact that he had a paper stating why their relationship wouldn't have worked out in the first place
And maybe, just maybe they're not being 100% serious.
Well atleast you still have the letter to make you feel better.
And can I just say, 'a wrote'? Proofread anyone?
I'm more curious to why he went back to her if he knew they wouldn't work out.
You gotta remove evidence man! Or follow your own opinion through and don't get back with her.
*again.
Pretty sure he means because they'd already broken up and got back together. So they would be getting back together /again/ after this breakup.
