Today, my girlfriend found a letter I'd written to myself for moral support while we were broken up, in which I explained why we would never work out. Apparently I made a convincing argument. FML

YDI for having it somewhere she could find it even though you are back together. A place in your life like that should be put behind you unless you hadn't moved on from that part of you that didn't want to be with her. If you did want to be with her and were attached to the letter still, you should have known to get rid of it lest this happen.

You're always supposed to throw those out after you write them.

You could write a letter explaining why you would work out.

If he had such good reasons though, why did he get back with her in the first place?

Love. But sometimes love just ain't enough...

And the other woman he was seeing at the time wasn't Rachem, so he went with the waitress.

If its really that good, then you should reread it to get over her.

And this is where you channel your loneliness to become the most convincing heartless lawyer in existence. When you're loaded, you'll have grounds to convince her to come back to you. Of course, you can kiss your competitive edge goodbye after that!

Make her give that letter back to you!! You need a template to write your next letter morally supporting yourself. You shouldn't have to start over from scratch.

Reasons me and Jennifer will never work out: #1) I'm a dumb ass #2) I suck at hiding things

Well on the bright side you can reuse it.

I saw that same Idea on how I met your mother.
