Aggressive tells us more.
Hello everyone. She's doing very well now! The doctors at the hospital told us it was only a minor stroke luckily. We were extremely lucky to have a doctor at the house indeed. And sorry to hear about your loss #70.:(

Sorry about the grandma, OP. :( Hmm...A non-alcoholic party in Ireland?! I smell an oxymoron. :O
I was taught to use the acronym FAST to recognize a stroke: Face drooping Arm weakness Speech difficulty Time to call emergency personnel Just an FYI that might help someone one day. Hope she is ok now, though.
I was taught that if you suspect something is wrong ask the person to smile, raise both their arms, and to say something. If they have trouble with any of these things than they are probably having a stroke.
BOY SCOUTTTT! am i right? :)
Well, TV adverts.
It's especially likely they're having a stroke if the trouble is on one side.
Hopefully your granny will be okay OP!
Today, my grandaughter threw a party. Towards the end, I had a stroke. They thought I was pretending to get drunk. FML
At least you had a doctor present! I hope your grandmother recovers alright OP.
How lucky to have had a doctor at the party!
There are quite a few illnesses and such where the afflicted appears to be intoxicated. Taking the time to familiarise ourselves with some basic signs and symptoms of common conditions might just save a life. Id hate tp think what wouldve happened had there not been a doctor at the party. Grandmas old - you gotta keep an eye on her. I cant say YDI for not knowing signs of a stroke but not exactly FYL either. F your grandmothers life, more like.
Just wow......
i hope she is ok
I can't even begin to comprehend how horrible and ironic this is. Of all the circumstances..
