Today, my husband got some junk mail. My grandma brought the mail in and let my 5-year-old open it because it was just junk. It turns out it was a catalog from an adult toys shop. FML

Grandma deserves it for opening someone else's mail - or giving it to a child to do so. That's actually a federal offence in most places.

It wasn't an accident for Grandma, she knew it was meant for the husband. It is only illegal if you open it knowingly or if you discard it.

Nobody said they signed up for the catalog, and it was the grandma who gave the kid the mail, not the parents. Read the fml entirely before going off on the OP.
