Let's say that, theoretically, the husband is not creepy old. The formula for the maximum difference in age without it being creepy is age/2+7. So, the oldest the husband could be without it being creepy is 32. If we assume that they JUST got married, and dated for more than a few weeks before getting married, I'd say the OP was probably 22 when they met, and the husband could've been 30 at most without it being creepy. So if the husband is now 31, then either he had his daughter at 15 and his daughter is 15 now, or maybe he was 16 and she's 14, or some other combination. Or he's a creepy old dude who marries younger women. Either way, YDI for either marrying an old guy, or for marrying a guy who had a kid when he was a teenager. You picked a classy guy, and so you get a guy with an obviously classy daughter. YDI.

so what if her husband is more than 7 years her senior??? my husband is 17 years my senior...he's 50, I'm 32, but he's the best man I've ever been with and treats me like GOLD.... AND, he's going to be a grandpa in July this year...his son is 19, married to an 18-year-old woman (I admit, they're too young....but....at least they got married and they're doing what they have to do) and has two jobs. He also has a 14-year-old daughter. I personally have a 3-year-old son from a previous relationship, and my son LOVES my husband (sometimes I think more than he loves me LOL). but seriously, age is NOTHING but a number when it comes down to it. In my experience, guys close to my own age are immature and jealous and a pain in the ass to deal with. So, I will be GiGi in July....and I'm proud to say that. It's okay OP, just take it as it comes...all babies are blessings!!!! I never thought I'd have a baby, and I was 28 before I got pregnant. I don't regret him for one second, just wish my husband now was his father.

this doesn't suck so bad for you, just go by your name instead of grandma or whatever just don't be the weird one that wants to be "auntie whoever" my dad had a girlfriend that was 10 years older than me that pulled that.

No, you're going to be a STEP grandmother. And if she's old enough to be procreating, then you're husbands a lot older, so you shouldn't be shocked and would've known there was a chance of this happening
