So did you give in and ask her if you can enjoy a scrumptious slab of meat?
If you're so happy being a vegetarian, why do you crave meat still?
Don't expect people to change their eating habits just to suit you. I'm a vegetarian as well, and the ones who expect everyone else to stop eating meat too make all of us look like self righteous/self centered jerks.
Just eat meat like you're supposed to. You'll feel a whole lot better and be a whole lot healthier. The reason animals were put on this planet is for our use and that includes consumption.
Really? Eat a Panda, or a koala bear. Oooh, let's go eat Lions since it's food. Yummy.
I would have been able to try Lion last year. But the shop in California that I was going to order the meat from got so much bad press, they had to cancel their lion meat sale. :( I wanted to know what a predator tastes like... Koala's are scary, I will let them be.
32- really that's how it works! people who quit smoking are glad to be done with that but still miss smoking and may still have that craving. just saying.
Oh no, here comes the idiotic "anti-vegetarian, natural to eat meat, eat meat hippie" comments. I predict closing the comments to the public due to an idiocy reactor leak.
It's really dependent on the reason for me. I love meat, but I'm *not* gonna judge if you're a vegetarian. Yes, you CAN get the same nutrition from being vegetarian, but its a lot less pleasant. If you don't eat meat for health reasons, or industry level meat due to animal cruelty, that's ok. But if you honestly think eating other animals is wrong or unethical, you're getting a high five to the face from me
The real problem is when vegetarians think that everyone who eats meat is doing it just to piss them off. That seems to be the OP's view, since she thinks her landlady is being "cruel" just for eating meat where she can smell it. Here's a tip, OP: Do your thing and let others do theirs. It's not always all about you.
Where's the idiocy in doing what we're designed to do? Personally I think being a vegetarian is stupid but if people want to do it then great, do it, but you're going to die either way. ...This is in response to 47. It got posted in the wrong place. Sorry guys.
My comment was towards the idiots who will post blantant false information about vegetarianism, and stupid shit concerning people who choose that lifstyle. Don't get me wrong, I am not in favor for the extremists of vegetarians, only the sane ones. ...and yes, i'm an omnivore.
Meat is murder... Tasty, tasty murder
Humans are naturally omnivores, but people who become vegetarians have their reasons. "to save cows" I think is a very stupid reason because they were put on this earth to be eatten, just like many other animals (o course they do have their other purposes as well but all animals get eatten, either by humans or other animals, and you can't stop animals most of them would die without this diet, why should people stop when it's in our DNA to be meat eaters as well?) the only reason I've found acceptable for becoming vegitarian is for some health realated issue where meat is really bad to eat.. Dunno what it's called, but my aunt has it.
