What a **** nut. No job is worth risking your health!
Life?
Just ignore him. If he ever suspends you or fires you for a related incident, take it up with corporate and get his job.
^This! If he ever fires you Op he would be in the wrong. You can't fire someone over their disability.
#48, that's what they were talking about.
Get a new job.
Well at least she didn't sugarcoat it..
i cannot believe your manager. What a horrible person...
wow...
can't blame him, not even 15 minutes into his shift, my coworker faked a heart attack so he could leave work early and get paid for the whole day. ****** got picked up by the ambulance/went to the hospital but was fine to work the next day.
I would never assume someone is faking any sort of medical condition. If you're in the states, he would've had medical bills to pay and I don't think that's worth faking the trip to the hospital. Plus, he could've thought he was having a heart attack and it could've been something as simple as gas pain (this happens a lot) or it could've been something else that was more mild but still important, in which case you can't fault him for going to the hospital if he thought it was a heart attack; better safe then sorry. It's always best to assume the person is actually having a problem then to have it turn out you're wrong and look like you're an insensitive jerk, like op's boss. ;)

I know your pain OP. One time I was in the middle of a test when my blood sugar dropped so low that I could hardly stand up, but my teachers refused to let me go get something to eat. Then they failed me and tried to have me suspended for "causing a scene" after I passed out. Not many people understand how serious diabetes can be. Sorry OP, I would report the manager to HR and see what they can do
Your manager is the ultimate douchebag.
