Perhaps you should have thought ahead and asked for the time off a little earlier than a couple of days before the holiday - which is probably why the other employees all got it off and you didn't. Waiting until the last minute, your boss had no idea that you would need the time off, so he let everyone else off and scheduled the last employee who didn't seem to want it off.
That's what I was thinking too. Before all the judgmental opinions here, said boss may very well have a perfectly valid reason to do this. In any case, even though a dick move it may seem, most companies have every right to do this.
My current manager is the same way, I feel your pain OP :( hope you can make the best out of it

Why would you apply for leave, two days before Christmas? Most companies ask that you do it, at least two weeks in advance.
