Leira Ordet tells us more.
Ah! My fml got posted and I had to make an account to elaborate lol. Ok so it's actually for my stepdad who has been in my life for the last 8 years and has done more for me than my biological father ever has. He's super into WoW and the keyboard in question IS a Merc Stealth and there is literally no substitute because the design is so unique.

Dads are used to being disappointed by Father's Day gifts.
I think a donation towards a gaming keyboard would be a good gesture. I game but I'd be happy to use a £12 USB keyboard personally. Maybe I'm not as hardcore as your father.
You can buy a reasonably priced non 4k PlayStation 4 for that or near that
is it the Steel series Merc Stealth by chance? they run about $350 on Amazon man. pricey.

Show it anywayClearly, you opted to skip EVERYTHING I wrote except for the part of him being a dad and a gamer. Also, how do YOU know that your husband is such a great dad on top of being a gamer. My aunt thinks her fiance is a great father and a gamer. But their son is almost two and can't even talk despite him being a "Mr. Mom."

Show it anywayso he can't work, pay bills and have a hobby, while raising a kid? shit, have to go tell my parents they did it all wrong. should work 40+ hrs a week and have no joy in their lives expect buying us shit and paying bills.
He can. I'm saying that I HOPE he has all of that taken care of. If he doesn't THEN he SHOULDN'T be a dad. Can't you read?
The Razer Ornata Chroma is the one my husband and I have. It's like $135 at best buy. Look it up and have your mom ask if he likes it. It has a detachable armrest and you can set up what color the keys change. It's very nice.

OP, your mom must think that you have a high-paying job in order to afford that $350 all on your.... Why doesn't SHE pay for it all? Or at least 75%? Else draw or print out a (on-line) pix of said kb! lol
Keyboards are a bitch. I just paid $110 for a discontinued Logitech because the keys are exactly where I need them and it's got all the features I want. Sure I could have gotten something cheaper, but it was my money.
It is rather expensive so eitheer team up with someone (your mother?) to buy it or get something else entirely. I see many comments saying that you can get a good keyboard for around 130$, and they're correct, but your dad probably already has a keyboard he's satisfied with and only wants that specific keyboard rather than just a general upgrade. I'm basing this on the assumption that he is a dedicated gamer but also have a decent job, since the Merc Stealth is even considered (he likely knows what it costs).
Try http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=25780 I recently bought this for my boyfriend. It is a steel series merc stealth.
I used to have a Merc Stealth and i LOVED that thing, but Steelseries stopped supporting it in 2013, so the drivers won't work at all. Unless your stepdad has an old computer, don't bother. And unfortunately there's nothing like it! I'm currently rocking a Razer Anansi & a Razer Nostromo. Maybe try getting him a Razer gaming pad instead (the only other gaming pads are made by Logitech [and the ergonomics is weird according to reviews] and a third part manufacturer whose name I don't remember but seemed like cheap chinese knockoff stuff).
There is a merc stealth used on eBay starting at $99 bid right now.
Did someone say... tree fiddy?
