#61 Reading between the lines. No one else in his family knew, so he had to know that his orientation would meet with harsh disapproval. And maybe he didn't "confess" to his mom, maybe she figured it out or caught him in the act. Counting on inherited money is a shitty financial plan, and it is parasitic. Sorry about your loss, and now you should move on with your life (to the OP) I hope your family comes to accept that you are homosexual, and if they hate you for it, i would seriously suggest cutting off your ties to them.
