Sounds like me LOL i can handle a fire but. Ima flip out if my kids bring home anything less than a B. They can make straight As. They are in high classes and gifted and talented
and thats why people shouldn't be aloud to re-produce
#62 *allowed
Must be Asian.
YOU CAN'T MATH!!!
Key word is ALMOST. Your sister ALMOST caught the house on fire. You ACTUALLY got a 67. See the difference? But FYL anyway.
You ALMOST got a 70!
Next time tell her you got two thirds. 2/3 is almost 3/3, and sounds like more than 67/100.
She was probably more disappointed than she already was from your sister's behavior, so when she found out that you were not doing so well in your course, she became more upset.
Houses can be replaced, your future can't.
Actually, your future can be "replaced," at least in this context. You've never heard of upgrading High School classes, or re-taking university/college courses? Also, what do you think adults do when they find out that their current career isn't relevant anymore? They go back to school and "replace" their future.
Except for the fact that having to do those things (except for going back to school to get a new career) have an impact on your final GPA. It's really better to just NOT slack off, work hard, and get through it the first time. Even GEDs aren't considered to have the same weight as HS diplomas by a lot of people, even if it's still good to attempt to get one if you miss out on the diploma.
Just be happy that she didn't. What's done is done. Your mom also probably complained too much already and she didn't feel like making an even bigger scene.

of course you never know in an FML, but OP could be a 19 year old in a level 101 algebra class and his sister could be a 2 year old that knocked over a candle
