I think it was on purpose. Pretty shitty of the MIL. Let your husband know it was sent to you (so he doesnt think you are snooping which is a sign you dont trust him) and just let him know how it makes you feel and i would ask him what his response would be to her. She shouldnt be trying to break the two of you up. What a bitch.
