Today, my mother told me: "If you didn't exist, I wouldn't stay with your father". So it's MY fault if she's having problems with him? FML

Agreed with #3. My mom has once said that to me before too, but I have my utmost respect for her to try keeping the marriage together for my autistic brother's sake. My dad sure isn't the most sensitive guy out there, and I myself isn't in a good relationship with my dad either. But kudos to my dad for sticking around and paying for my brother's needs too, I suppose. I guess both of them are much better than those parents who dumps their mentally-challenged kids to the government.

My mom says that too and then she gets mad at me for no reason when she treats THE OTHER 3 like angels...IHMFL (i hate my fking life)...and not only that i am always the one that does everything and im always wrong...aparently my friend has the same life but worse than me to we stick together and take care of eachother when we need it the most. My mother thinks we are together once she came over and we were in my room. My brother screamed "MOM LEXIS AND JOCE ARE KISSING!" well we were braiding string...

yeah maybe the OPs mom meant that in a nice way but that's something you keep to yourself, the fact that the mom said that is just wrong.

Exactly, i know how u feel my parents tell me that too

I kinda agree. your mom is doing you a favor... do you really want to be in the divorced child statistic? (Even if you like your dad more, your mom would probably get custody). OP is swlfisg

No matter what, you can't blame your kid on that your marriage is ****** up. It's your own fault if you're either messing it up yourself or staying with the other person who messes it up. And imagine the persons feelings hearing that someone's else's life is ****** up because of him. And what did he do? He was just born.

Oef, if it was those words then FYL, she obviously blames you. But maybe she actually said "I'm with your dad for you"? It's all about the way she said it.

that sux, I would've been in the same boat, but mom thought it was better that I wasn't around him an got a divorce shortly after I was born. Instead, I get told that my actions cause most of my moms and step dads fights and possible divorce. That's a real fml.
