Today, my mother took a bunch of sleeping pills, then went driving. I followed her and dialed 911. Now she thinks that I was "trying to get her arrested," and she refuses to talk to me ever again. FML

Today, my very drunk mother decided to run down the block naked, screaming at the top of her lungs, "She's trying to kill me!" as I followed behind her in my car, yelling for her to get in. FML

Today, while I took my dog out, my mother began to cook, took a Xanax, locked the doors, and passed out. When I managed to get in, I called the paramedics because she was in the smoke for at least an hour. When she became conscious, she blamed me for everything. FML

Today, I was woken up at 11:30 am by my mother standing over my bed, screaming at me. I'm 30 years-old, married, and do not live with her. She broke into my house because I didn't answer my phone, because I'm sick and on prescription sleep meds. WTF? FML

Today, while riding in the car with my mother, we got into an argument, at which point she pulled the vehicle over, took the key out of the ignition and used it to turn off the passenger airbag. She then continued driving in silence. FML

I think it's hilarious how everyone comments on how she is a druggie/ addict an needs to go to rehab. ppl need to stop stereotyping her just cuz she took some sleeping pills. you did the right thing though by following her and calling 911 to stop her. it more than likely saved her life and others lives.

yeah but the thing is she took many sleeping pills. I mean she doesn't need to go to rehab but she obviously needs to learn that driving and drugs don't go well together and to take the certain amount of pills prescribed or else she'll be in danger.

NEVER call the cops, if she wasn't arrested you lucked out. Google police abuse, and take a look as to what happens once you get them involved. Or go to YouTube & search for Hope Steffey, a crime VICTIM!!

I really hope you aren't implying that all cops abuse their power... Aside from the fact that the authorities needed to be alerted to a potentially fatal road hazard, what else was OP supposed to do? Call the pizza delivery guy? OP, good job, you did the right thing!

Aw, the exact same thing happened to me, except I went with her to make sure shed be safe. I didn't feel comfortable calling 911 bc I was only 13 but it was terrifying to be driving in the car with her and see her so loopy. We went to kroger and she got a lot of weird stuff she couldn't remember buying the next day.

You ****** up. You could have gotten your mom in trouble with the gubbermint, and then it's all over. They could just ship her ass to Guantanamo Bay, and, poof!, no more Mom! Instead, you should have called "America's Funniest Videos" and let them tape your mom's drugged-up adventure. ******-up people do the zaniest things, and it would be a shame for the rest of America to miss out on your mom's hijinks.
