Hopefully they will sit a couple tables away to make things less awkward.
Hopefully they don't pull out the embarassing pictures and stories!
This is why I didn't tell my parents whenever I had a boyfriend in highschool. They wanted to get to know him before I went on a date with him, and if they didn't approve I couldn't date him.
I'm 22 and my family still knows nothing about my personal life because they did shit like that when I was younger.
Sad. If parents will be real parents and build trust this shouldn't have to happen. Raise them in a way that you trust their judgement and everybody wins!
That sucks OP, hopefully they won't be too annoying on your date
You'll be alright as long as your like 12 and they aren't taking a shotgun too. Otherwise you really should tell them to but out.
Say it got canceled!
This is a very reason why kids do things behind their backs. Sad :(
The date must have been pretty awkward...

Damn, now you have enough extra wheels for a full car! They probably just don't have enough reasons to get out anymore.
Maybe you should just invite your date to your house.
