sleep in every room in the house for a week until they remove the doors then once they are done steal all of the screws for the doors and then negotiate with them for your stuff back
My mother did that too once. Simple fix; I removed her door to replace mine. She gave up the fight after that.
What is chronic vertigo?
I think it is when you are afraid of heights and have been for a long time. I think it can be very serious and can have effects. It is an anxiety problem.
Vertigo's a feeling that you're going to fall over, and an inability to walk steadily. It's a balance problem and it can be a really scary and disabling condition. I suffer from occasional attacks so I know how you feel OP, I've been known to feel like I'm going to fall over whilst lying flat on my bed. When I'm having an attack, I'll frequently walk in a diagonal line across a room because, to my brain (or at least the part that controls my movement) that's a perfectly reasonable way to cross a room!
I wonder something, if you had a vertigo attack could you not just lay on the floor and close your eyes? Would that make you feel better? Idk and was just curious.
I have vertigo as well and laying down and closing my eyes, personally, does nothing. I'll still feel like I'm spinning. it's actually fairly entertaining until I try to stand up again...

strict patents. fyl OP
but you could go home drunk and they might think you were having an attack :)
