Today, my parents woke me up and grounded me for the "disrespectful" things I said to them in my sleep. Apparently I say these things every night, and each time I do they extend the grounding. FML

Today, my parents have decided to ground me if I don’t wake up early. If I wake up early, I get migraines. Not only that, but the migraines always last for exactly as long as the grounding. FML

Today, I woke up early, went to the gym, then came home and showered. When I went into my room to change, my mom woke up and started pounding on my door, screaming about how lazy and useless I was for sleeping so late. When I tried to tell her otherwise, she grounded me for "talking back". FML

Today, my mom scolded me and threatened to ground me for coming home past midnight. Normally, it wouldn't be unreasonable, except for the fact that I'm 24 years-old, and that my parents live with me, in my own house. FML

Today, it's been three weeks since my parents went on holiday and not only have they not called me, they don’t answer when I call them… until today, when my mom finally called me, whilst I was having sex. She then sent me a text outlining how rude it was I ignored her call and grounded me. I’m 24 years-old. FML

I assume you have your own bedroom, so what the hell are your parents even doing being in the same room? Are they watching you sleep? Are they coming into your room to take something of yours? Maybe they deserve what you said then because that is CREEPY.

Are your parents the type that don't let their kids do kid things? Maybe they are grounding you so you cant "rebel" against them. Even if you are talking in your sleep, that's not something they should be able to hear unless they are watching you sleep. If I were you, I'd set up some kind of recording so you can hear what is worth being grounded over.

WOW. It sounds like your parents are standing over your bed while you sleep. That's pretty disturbing. If you're old enough to move out, RUN FOR THE HILLS!!
