Today, my parents heard me leaving my room at 2 am, and freaked out because they thought I was sneaking out. I was too embarrassed to tell them that I was getting food instead of having a social life. FML

Today, I snuck out of my house in the middle of the night. I ran into my dad carrying wine into another house. I didn't assume he was cheating until he saw me and said, "I won't tell if you don't tell, please don't tell your mother." FML

Today, I thought I had gotten away with throwing a party while my folks were gone the night before. They came home and I was as sweet as possible. I could tell they were not buying it, but I thought I was in the clear. Later, they told me I had drunk-dialled them and spilled the beans. FML

Today, my parents started fighting at a restaurant. Embarrassed, I went to the restroom to get away and stayed in there for about 15 minutes, knowing how long their fights can last. When I came back, they were gone. They'd ditched me, and left me to walk several miles back home. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I decided to sneak into the shower at her house while her parents went out to eat and a movie. Half way through our shower we heard a knocking at the door, it was her mom. We had left all of our clothes downstairs. Safe to say I won't be allowed there any more. FML

Today, I came home after a party to my parents, who confronted me. They said that my phone had made a pocket call to them and they heard a good half hour of people talking about drugs and alcohol. I confessed at that point. I checked my phone after. I hadn't called them in 3 days. FML

So, I have never sneaked out before but I have a social life and I get hungry at night too, I'm sure this has happened to lots of ppl so don't be embarrassed.

Not sneaking out at night means you don't have a social life? Growing up I never snuck out of the house but I had a plentiful social life. Sneaking out past midnight to go binge drinking with buddies doesn't equate to a better social life than somebody who respects the wishes of their parents.

And not just respecting your parents' wishes, but having some commen sense and morals as well. I don't not drink/smoke/go out partying because my parents tell me not to, but because it would be stupid to do so and therefore it has zero appeal to me. People are stupid.
