Today, my parents insisted that despite the fact I've just turned sixteen, I have to save them money by ordering from the children's menu, because I "still look like a twelve year-old." FML

Man that stinks. From my experience orders from the kid's menu don't have enough food to fill me, not to mention that a typical kids menu is "chicken fingers, hot dog, mac and cheese" with no real variation. It would suck if my parent's forced me to order from that when I really wanted something that wasn't on the kid's menu at all. I'm willing to bet the parents make OP order from the kid's menu so they can order the most expensive stuff off the menu.

if you look young you could get cheaper bus travel etc, not all bad
