Sounds like she saved you. If she's going to be so dramatic and compulsive about shit.
If it took a long time for OP to recharge his phone it is possible that his girlfriend just kept building it in her mind until she convinced herself it was a really big deal. I know people who do stuff like that.
I hope you sent her a text back explaining what had happened and thanking her for dumping you because you don't want to be with anyone so pathetic and shallow.
Dude just text her back saying that your phone died. If she's a good girlfriend then she will understand, if not then you can do better
If she's immature enough to immediately break up with him over a text without bothering to ask about why he hung up and finding out if it was just a simple misunderstanding, he probably shouldn't bother texting her back anyway
Can't you talk to her about it?
I would've texted you and said "what the ****? why'd you hang up on me? there better be a good reason."
Seriously. How is this even an FML post. How did this get moderated. A bunch of twelve year olds broke up cause his phone died, oh ya, FML, his life is ruined.
Seriously? My comment gets moderated because I questioned why this post made it through? What is this, a dictatorship? It's called having an opinion, Chief. Welcome to the real world.
Silly girl. She's too overly dramatic. Good riddance. Unless you're just an arsehole and this was a coincidence.

Well if she is going to break up with you over something so small and irrelevant, I'd say it's a good thing to rid of her now versus a year or two down the road. Sounds like she needs to grow up and trust you.
good riddance i say, if the fact that your phone died was the only reason. or maybe you're just an asshole. who knows.
