Today, my professor let a guy into my philosophy class 30 minutes late because his excuse was, "Time is just an illusion." This is the same professor that kicked me out of the classroom for being 2 minutes late. FML

Next time go to his house at 3 AM, say that "time is just an illusion" and stay for 2 minutes to make it up :)

well it is a philosophy class...he nailed the correct answer for being late. next time try something that cam be related to the class

It's hard to be mad when your happy, the student distracted him with something amusing, and therefore avoided a similar fate to your own. My suggestion, always show up to class with a mug reading "Teacher of the year". If you're early, he/she won't see, and you've got it for another day, if you're late offer him/her the mug before they scold you, and you'll likely get of easy.

There is a limit as to how long a teacher can be late before students can leave without being counted absent. At my school its 15min. In fact i had a teach show up just after it went to 16min and everyone was like oh hell no i'm leavein.
