Today, my professor, who was born without arms, asked somebody "need a hand?" There are over 300 students in that class and I was the only one laughing. FML

AppoKing tells us more.

In reference to everyone who wants to know how he teaches: He uses power points and is able to type, change slides, and use a laser pointer with his foot (I think only one leg is actually real). He teaches psychology and is an amazing teacher.

Not going to lie, I would've laughed

You did the right thing. Everybody who didn't laugh are dry boring people. I bet the professor said it on purpose, and would have felt bad if nobody laughed at all! Go you!

Sucks that no one else in your class has a sense of humor

Lol it's his fault for asking that way I would have laughed too

You know, most people have a sence of self irony ... I guess he said it as a joke:P I remember one time I sat next to a standup comedian without legs or arms, it was the funniest trip I've ever had, anyway this is relevant becouse he almost only made crippel jokes!

If it's the person with the disability that's making the joke it's ok to laugh.

I would've laughed too, you are not alone.

No problem there. A blind friend of mine often says "See you!". It's not you joking about disabilities. If they say it, its OK.
