If you want to go the passive aggressive route (and who doesn't, really?) Next time just blast music after the first alarm goes off to help her make that tough transition from asleep to irate.
Get rid of the alarm and let her be late.
Considering she went to sleep for good, #12, OP's asshole roomie is clearly going to be late--if she shows up at all. I have an alarm for which I hit the snooze once. And then another alarm on my phone as a backup. I'm always up before the backup alarm goes.
Why use an alarm (or in this case several) if you're going to sleep in?
Hence the FML.
you should calmly walk into her room with a hammer and smash that alarm into oblivion right in front of her. then walk out silently with out addressing the freak out.
Change the clock time and set it backwards a couple hours and reset the alarm so when she sees the time the first time the alarm goes off, she basically craps herself thinking she's late and rushes to leave. You only wake up once and then get to enjoy the sweet revenge when the room mate is wherever they have to be a few hours early. It takes some dedication, but would be worth the reaction
Perhaps she is/was ill? Personally my depression makes getting out of bed just about the most difficult thing I do all day. If it happens more than once I would urge roomie to get a check-up.
#22: I hit the snooze button about 3 or 4 times each morning. Some people are just too lazy to get up. I think it would be highly prematured to panic about OP's roommate just because of that.
I'm not depressed but I hit the snooze button 3-4 times every morning.
24, 26: I'm not necessarily suggesting anyone who does this is depressed. I'm suggesting roomie MIGHT have some sort of medical issue that could be causing it.
If the alarm is on their phone you can call them to get it to stop. That is, if your phone is next to you.
Ugh. I understand your frustration, OP. In my old building, the girl who lived above me used an obscenely loud, vibrating alarm on her phone, which she usually left on the floor of her room, inconveniently located right above my room. It would vibrate through the floor and I could hear it throughout my entire apartment when it went off. She was also a rock of a sleeper and the alarm would go on and off for well over an hour some days. A few times I had to knock on her door because I just couldn't stand it anymore, and her embarrassed roommate would have to go wake her up. Some people...

a bucket and ice water over the head is an alarm without a snooze button, and that's enjoyment to the person dumping it on the sleeper. have fun, OP
