I told my family I was pregnant the week of my mother's funeral. Circumstances were a little different though... the last conversation I had with my mother was about how she wanted me to keep her posted on whether or not I was pregnant. She knew my husband and I were trying for another baby.

Firstly, sorry for your loss. . Secondly, I may not know the situation, but that seems like a way to try and get attention. She should have waited a couple days, at least. FYL for sure.
