Today, my sister was playing a rock star in a play. When she got home, she told me she used one of my old guitars, because I told her it was ok. I said she could take one to practice on, not destroy on stage. FML

Today, my sister and mom were arguing. My sister was being really nasty to my mom, and decided to get nasty with me and drag me into the argument. Naturally, I got nasty back at her and we started fighting. My mom yelled at me for getting nasty with my sister, and kicked me out of the house for “being too nasty.” FML

Today, I had to explain to my little sister that not all guitars are supposed to have a hole in them, that when I was talking about "breaking it in" I didn't mean I'd smash a hole in it, and that she shouldn't have taken a hammer to my expensive new guitar. FML

man, as a fellow guitar player, I feel for you on this. That's bullshit. Hearing a guitar thats worth so much go and get smashed just cause she has a temper tantrum, it's ****** up. I suggest beating her ass till she pays for another identical or vintage guitar or you break her shit till it adds up to a grand.

Obviously a lot of you people don't know a lot about guitars and what your talking about. First off, Gibsons tend to be very high quality and good. Second of all it depends what you want to play and what kind of quality guitar you want so stop bashing all the brands broskies ;p Oh and this is f'd, especially if you were a big player and had a true connection to that instrument

The only gibsons I like are the vintage ones. The new ones are horrible because the wood hasn't had aging time. And don't go bashing bc rich. They're definitely not my favorite company, but they do their job. They are mass produced, which I look down upon. That's why I'm either getting a schecter hellraiser or an ibanez someday. And dude, I know tons about guitars. I wouldn't say I know everything because that's impossible, but I know quite a bit. And Gibson is way over rated and doesn't truly live up to its name like it used to.

I always found (electric) guitars 1000$ and under to be somewhat cheap (I know, there are exceptions) but it is still a lot of money to lose!! And even buying the exact same model again just wouldn't be the same... it's kinda like buying a new puppy after your dog dies. Fortunately for me, my sister also plays guitar so she knows how to treat one :)
