Of course what your sister said was awful. But if she thought you looked fat in your dress, perhaps she should have chosen a different style of dress or suggested you try a size up? One of my bridesmaids tried on a dress about three sizes too small for her. She realised it was too small and tried another 2 sizes bigger. She thought it fit but it was still tight enough to show off all her rolls (she's not exactly fat, but she does have some extra weight) and frankly i wouldn't have wanted her looking like that on my wedding day. We suggested she try a size up and although she was reluctant at first it did look much nicer.
