Today, my sixteen-year-old daughter put her soda in the microwave to “cool it down by making the ice cubes melt faster”. FML

If you place a closed, room temperature soda can in icy water and add salt, the salt causes the ice to melt rapidly resulting in a quickly cooled beverage in about 60 seconds. This is such a cool little trick to know :D

I think this is more of an FML for your daughter. She's not gonna make it real far in life if she honestly thought that would work.

Why can't I favorite this? I really want to. Lmao

Not only does it make the drink get heated up and the ice cubes melt, but also bye making the ice cubes melt they set free even more energy by breaking up the grid.

On the plus side, since you wont have to pay for a education at a top university u can now spend the money on a car, pool, vacation. Just think of the options.

Huzzah for my generation of gay loving faggots! Don't hate me because it's true.

Something definitely went wrong somewhere

I'd understand if a six year did this, but sixteen? I hope to god teens aren't becoming dumber by the generation.
