Today, my supervisor forced me to bring the image of a failed simulation to the group meeting, because he thought it looked funny. So did the others and it's now going on our webpage. I have to provide a scientific description of how I made a mistake in my code. FML

That is shitty that your supervisor did that to you, making such a joke out of it and decided to blow it up to such a stupid, jackass thing to do to someone. But everyone makes mistakes. You shouldn't take it too hard. Just make corrections and learn from the mistake you made. It's really ******* hard to do but you just have to hold your head up and in a few days time, they'll be talking about someone else's screw up.

At least you're being recognized. Hang in OP.

Next time you'll be more careful for sure.

at least you're putting a smile on others faces. :))

You learn more from your failures that from your successes.

I'm sitting here imaging a graph that's shaped like a penis. I hope that's close to what happened

the slinky toy was a mistake and look how great it turned out to be. gum was a mistake and look how ******* awesome it is. mistakes are life.

I wish my boss would laugh at our mistakes instead of yelling & threatening to fire everyone in the office.

The person who's never made a mistake has never done anything. If it was an honest mistake, be proud of it. I'm an engineer too, and I love almost nothing better than to be proven wrong -- it means SOMEBODY PROVED SOMETHING. Progress has been made.
