Today, my teacher confiscated my cell phone for text messaging. He said he would give it back if the next text that I would receive was important. I prayed the guy I've been texting didn't send the dick pic he said he was going to. He did. FML

Today, I was using my dad's cell because I had broken mine. I was texting my boyfriend all day when my dad needed his phone back. I forgot to tell my boyfriend that my dad would be using the phone. My boyfriend then texted graphically what he wanted to do to my dad. FML

She was texting inappropriate things to this guy, too anal about it? The guy sent her a dick picture WHILE SHE WAS IN CLASS....>_< THIS is why the teachers are too anal about it.

the problem is that the teacher was looking through the op's messages. He had no right to do that as it is an invasion of privacy. therefore the suspension shouldn't have happened. if wish I posted this earlier. (by the way texting in class is disrespectful but not illegal. which is worst?)

It really annoys me when kids text in class. I happen to be in 8th grade, so I see it ALL the time. I myself have never texted in class, because there really is no reason for it. Are you really that desperate to talk to someone, when you have 4 other people within 5 feet of you? Can't it wait until lunch period? Anyway, in this case I think the girl deserved it. The "dick pic" she asked for was a really stupid move, in class and outside of class. I wholeheartedly agree with #24 that "genitalia is not a mantle piece, and should not be photographed". Although, the teacher has absolutely no right to search through the messages. Personally, I find it a huge violation when people look at my texts and pictures, even though none of them would be "compromising". Our principle has been known to look through pictures (I would assume to look for "sexting" violators, like this one), so I just keep my phone in my locker in the first place. Problem solved! :)
