I absolutely love dogs, but 4 great Danes alone are too much. 8 is just the perfect number to rename your home to a kennel. So you have 8 dogs, your wife and a bit¢h living there now..

More dogs=More happiness, or just sell 'em for profit.

I love dogs and I'd still be pissed

I had neighbors where the wife kept getting more and more cats. They split up when it reached the point where she'd buy cat food at the expense of food for their children.

That sounds very expensive especially as a surprise. I would definitely talk to your wife the vet check ups and shots are going to cost quite a bit and unless you live in a huge house it is going to be crazy.

Hi. OP Here. Just wanted to add some more background. First of all, I love my wife very much. She loves animals, is an excellent trainer and has a background working with exotics including reptiles, birds and dolphins. As good as she is, we still elect to have all of our dogs professionally trained for advanced obedience at a minimum. I am very confident that we will be able to control all 8 dogs with hand gestures as well as verbal commands.

That's two many puppies! My boyfriend had one trained dog when I moved in now one year later we have 6 more all under the age of one. The house smells like a kennel. My bf loves dogs . I feel 1 to 3 fine if you have time money and attention to give.

Urgh. Adopt don't shop.
