Haha. Ouch. Just what kind of questions are we talking about here? Of course, if she doesn't want the name, she doesn't have to keep it. Don't forget that the same applies to you keeping her as your wife. This little incident may also work in your favor if it comes to divorce. Good luck, btw; you might need it.

The wife probably meant she is tired of people asking how she and the Op are doing, you know the regular questions people would ask married couples as a way to make conversation.
